Last summer Bruce led a group of people to Rwanda for a two week mission trip. One of the participants, Katie Pepiot, was not from our church, but was a friend of ours who was a student at Virginia Tech with our daugter. Katie was featured this weekend in a CNN video piece regarding the church services dealing with last week's tragedy. She had returned to campus to share the grief and to minster to the students there with a message of compassion, faith and forgiveness.
